Description

Located in the northern Navarran sub-region of Tierra de Estella, Lezaun is an old family estate dating back to 1780. At just 47 acres of organic vineyards, this is a relatively small property to be producing such well-priced Tinto, but Raúl Lezaun prefers making smaller batches of great wine than having to send unusable surplus to co-ops. This vintage is made from a blend of hand-picked Tempranillo and Garnacha, with just a smidgen of Merlot, that is fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. The Tinto is bottled young and is ready to enjoy right now.
